Abstract
One of the most important concerns of humankind today is environmental issues and the health ‎of living organisms. Optical pollution is related to the use of light sources in unnecessary cases ‎or the use of light sources that are disproportionate to the location of use. The optical pollution ‎not only affects the health of human species, but also the ecology and biology of plant ‎communities, animals, natural habitats, and the loss of energy and the global economy. The ‎presence of light at night is one of the most prominent signs of human habitation in the ‎ecosystem. The estimated cost of the ill effects of optical pollution in the United States is ‎estimated at $ 7 billion annually. The local atmospheric pollution of the atmosphere is caused ‎by light waves, reflections of artificial light of objects on the surface of the earth, or surfaces ‎such as streets, billboards, or interiors of buildings. The results of this study show that the ‎intensity of lighting at night and in the 6th municipality of Tehran varies from 5 to 124 luxuries. ‎The highest light intensity is observed in Valiasr Square and Haft Tir Square with the lowest ‎light intensity on the North Kargar Street. In Iran, more than 20 percent of the country's ‎electricity consumption (about 50 billion kWh) is used annually for lighting. There are simple ‎ways to combat light pollution, although some of the actions can only be done with the help of ‎official authorities, community members can help to overcome this problem. Optical ‎pollution is one of the newest environmental issues that are important in many aspects of ‎ecological, ecological, economic, and social security.‎
