Abstract
In recent years, with the continuous understanding and deepening of accessibility in Chinese society, the objects of barrier-free facilities services have expanded from a single physiologically disadvantaged group to groups that include strollers, luggage holders and other groups with travel accessibility needs. This paper summarizes the current status of barrier-free research at home and abroad through literature research, and determines the concepts of urban densely populated areas and vulnerable groups. On this basis, the use of social survey methods, Arcgis analysis and other means, combined with several existing norms to formulate evaluation standards, from the perspective of users to quantify the barrier-free facilities between public service facilities within the May 1 business district of Changsha Research and scoring evaluation. Use Arcgis technology to analyze the scoring results. The results show that the construction of barrier-free facilities in the study area is not good and cannot meet the needs of barrier-free travel. Most of the paths just meet the standard requirements. Finally, from the three aspects of barrier-free mechanism, civic awareness and barrier-free facility design, suggestions are made to improve the barrier-free environment in the city.
